Presumably, be careful as this could bork your system. Many programs don't work as expected, but I wanted to install emacs so:
sudo mount Installing software on the read-o remountonly root filesystem is unsupported on Ubuntu Touch. You should be able to find updates in System Settings -> Updates and new applications in the OpenStore. If you would like to install and use terminal software from the Ubuntu repositories,rw see [https:/ sudo apt update sudo apt install emacs /docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/dailyuse/libertine.html Run desktop applications in the UBports Documentation] to set up a Libertine container.
