Armbian Community Build Image [microSD Boot] {mainline kernel 4.19.y]

  • Armbian provides a build system and images for Debian/Xenial with BSP kernel and mainline kernel (beta)
  • Two versions of Armbian images are available: legacy and vanilla. Legacy is strongly recommended for most users, whilst vanilla includes a mainline kernel which doesn't support DVFS, HDMI, onboard analog audio output, onboard IR receiver, CSI, DSI and TP interfaces
  • DD image (for 8GB micoSD card and above)
  • Login with
    • username: root
    • password: 1234

Volumio Digital Audio Player [2.383-2018-03-17]

  • This version works with (Spdif / Coaxial / RCA).
  • You need to enable Volume Normalization in the Playback Options to fix sound low.
  • supports booting from eMMC and SD card.
  • supports a select number of simple I2S DACS. tested with the Pine64 DAC POT, a wired ES9023 DAC module and a pcm5121 DAC module.
  • Volumio is a linux-based headless DAP (digital audio player), which connects to your home stereo system or your DAC

Xenial Mate [20170306] built by PINE64

  • This is a build including DE based on longsleep works and may not have all the up-to-date features offered by longsleep and Sunxi community. For latest build, you can create one and following this thread
  • This build optimizes Gigabit Ethernet parameter and improves on GbE connectivity
  • Included Mate Desktop, Firebox Browser, and LibreOffice Suite
  • Included libvdpau-sunxi with SMPlayer
  • Included with Wifi and Bluetooth
  • Included library set that provides access to the GPIO headers in Linux as provided by community member KB3VGW (https://devhub.io/repos/kb3vgw-wiringPi-Pine64)
  • Not yet optimize for Graphic acceleration
  • Auto execute resize_rootfs.sh script on first boot-up to resize the root partition in order to fully utilize the SD Card
  • Suitable for SOPINE Board only

The image includes a config tool which, among other options, allows users to install a desktop environment: sudo /usr/local/sbin/pine64-config.sh
