While the 1.2a Pinephones (postmarketOS CE, Manjaro CE) do not have any changes to the PCB besides the CC fix (which fixes USB OTG functionality and HDMI out), they do include multiple improvements in the overall hardware. Besides of course the convergence edition with extra ram and storage, Pine64 has added a thermal pad to the SOC, improved antennas, thermal foil to the back cover alongside a improved back cover plastic, and have fixed the touchscreen deadspot which affected a small rectangular area under the speaker grill. | |||
