H-ITT answer remote

I had a remote I had to buy for college courses. It is labelled with the FCC ID "UH9TX3100" on the back.
I am investigating whether this remote can be used with the ROCKPro64 as a simple input device for presentations and such, maybe even for playing simple interactive fiction or LCD-watch style games.
